We’re glad you asked this question because sharing Vietnamese coffee stories is a big part of what we do. Lacàph Space is our experience center and where we host creative activities and practical learning sessions. Swing by anytime Monday to Saturday between 10:00 and 17:00, and our Coffee Team will be happy to answer your questions over a coffee.

Alternatively, we host our Saturday Sessions on Saturdays from 10:00 to 17:00, introducing great ways to brew coffee at home. It’s fully hands-on and is great fun to do with friends.

You can pay by cash, credit card, bank transfer or COD, depending on your requirements.  If you are unsure how to pay, please talk to our staff when you are making your order, and they’ll be happy to advise you of the best method.

To get you started, each blend is made for a different brew method, espresso, phin, and filter, so it depends on how you want to make your coffee. They also combine different amounts of Arabica and Robusta beans, so it depends on how you want your coffee to taste. 

If you like a sweeter, lighter, smoother coffee, you may prefer our Filter Blend which contains only Arabica. Whereas if you prefer your coffee to have a more natural, earthy, heavier flavor, you may pick our Phin Blend with more Robusta. Our Espresso Blend balances both to perfection. Either way, our Coffee Team is happy to help you decide what’s best for you.

We understand that not everyone drinks coffee, and that’s fine by us. For the tea drinkers out there, we have Lacàph Cold Steeped Cascara bottle as well as Lacàph Cascara tea (dried tea)

Cascara is rich in antioxidants and known for its benefits to the digestive system. It’s mildly caffeinated, slightly sweet, and very refreshing. Give it a try if you haven’t already!

If you’re giving Lacàph coffee as a present, we have a selection of Gift Boxes that contain a choice of our Signature Blends as well as our Cascara Tea. We want to showcase the best of Vietnamese coffee, so source our beans throughout the country, from Sơn La in the North to Lâm Đồng in the Central Highlands. 

Most of our partner farmers come from generations of coffee growers, so combine years of experience. Others experiment with the latest processing techniques to produce beans full of flavors that are innovative and unique.

Our Filter Blend uses only Arabica for a lighter, smoother taste, while our Phin Blend is predominantly Robusta for those who like a heavier, earthy coffee. Our Espresso Blend balances both to perfection.

We hope all our products meet the high standards you expect from us, but if they don't, please let us know within 48 hours of receiving them. You can either contact us by phone or social media or visit us at Lacàph Space or Lacàph Bar. When you return a product to us, please make sure you include all the original packaging free from any appearance defects such as scratches or deformation. 

Please also make sure the product is returned with your purchase receipt, VAT invoice (if any) or any additional gifts you may have received from us. If there is a problem with your product, we are happy to make a direct exchange or replace them with a similar product of the same value.

Unlike other coffee producers, we place importance on every step of the supply chain and develop strong relationships along every link, from farm to cup. We want our coffee to be simple and accessible so that everyone can enjoy it, and whilst we don’t describe it as ‘specialty’, it’s made from some of the finest beans in Việt Nam. But more than merely making great coffee, we celebrate the story of the people who make it possible. And that’s what makes us different.

Although we don’t expressly define the meaning of Lacàph, it's a combination of the Vietnamese term la cà, which means to ‘hang out’, and the words cà phê, which means ‘coffee.’ We’ve taken la + cà + ph and put them together to create a unique two-syllable word pronounced ‘lacaf’ in English. 

Our products are proudly Vietnamese because we believe that Việt Nam makes products to be proud of, especially coffee. As Việt Nam continues to open up to the world, people are becoming more interested in what the country has to offer. We dedicate ourselves to sourcing the best coffee grown in Việt Nam and sharing this with our customers. 

Simply put, we’ve chosen the tagline ‘Coffees for the curious’ because that’s who our products are for. We create products for people who want to know more about them, and there are plenty of stories behind our products and the people who bring them to you. It’s a blooming coffee blossom which is the mother of all that we produce in our core range, whether it be coffee, cascara, or the coffee honey. It symbolises our commitment to Vietnam’s coffee industry and those who work in it and represents the founding ethos of Lacàph.
