About The Role

Lacàph is looking for passionate individuals who are eager to fulfill the mission of sharing Vietnamese coffee and culture to curious people around the world. You will be a storyteller and a coffee enthusiast rolled into one. Your role will be to guide our customers on a coffee journey with unforgettable moments and to share the art of brewing.

Office Location & Working Time

  • Office Location: Lacàph Space Sài Gòn (head office): 220 Nguyen Cong Tru, District 1, HCMC, Lacàph Bar 151 Dong Khoi, District 1, HCMC.
  • Working Time: 48 hours/week, following the manager’s arrangement.

Duties

1. Coffee Experiences Hosting
  • Use the art of storytelling to accompany customers in their journeys to explore Vietnamese coffee and culture.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure each customer’s experience is unforgettable.
  • Deliver the guidance and instruction on how to brew signature Vietnamese coffee based beverages
2. Customer Assistance
  • Extend warm welcomes, provide insightful menu descriptions and passionately introduce customers to our Lacàph products.
  • Enhance customer’s engagement and experience by actively promoting and selling products or services.
  • Understand customers’ needs, address their concerns or complaints (if any).
3. Crafting Coffee Excellence
  • Prepare and serve a diverse range of coffee related beverages.
  • Maintain an inviting work environment, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Strictly adhere to all food safety and quality regulations.

Requirements

  • Passion for Vietnamese coffee and culture, with a genuine desire to share this enthusiasm with others.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication skills, with the ability to tell stories and create connections with customers.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in coffee/bartending service or a similar hospitality environment (receptionist, waiter/waitress, hosting, MC…) with intermediate-level English).
  • Knowledge of coffee and brewing techniques is nice to have, not a must and will be professionally trained.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast paced environment.
